Eco Club - Overview

Eco-Club

The Eco-Club of the Government Degree College, Uravakonda is working for promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students with collaboration with NSS Units. The club regularly organize tree plantation events within the college or in nearby areas. Conduct awareness programmes on environmental issues such as climate changes, water conservation, waste management and biodiversity and to education students on current environmental challenges and solutions. Organize clean and green, Plastic free environmental activities.  It regularly conducts Eco-friendly activities like Eco-Ganesha competitions making of Clay Vinayaka, poster painting competitions on environment and environmental days like Ozone Day, water day environment day etc.

Objectives:

• To promote eco-friendly environment.
  
• To make campus plastic free campus.
  
• To motivate Staff and students should use eco-friendly products.
